Ultra Forensic Technology (UFT) today announces that it has agreed to sell its Projectina AG business (Projectina) to UK-based Heligan Group. This sale will have no material positive or negative impact on the Group’s 2021 earnings.
As a niche forensic and security-focused optical engineering business, Projectina has been manufacturing microscopes, document examination products, forensic crime scene equipment, and delivering custom OEM engineering services for over four decades.
The sale of Projectina aligns with the company’s overall vision to focus on its core capabilities of application-engineered defense solutions and our specialty nuclear, forensics and aerospace technology businesses. UFT has recently introduced new products and services to our core ballistic identification capabilities and will continue to evolve to better serve the law enforcement and criminal justice communities.
